The “Up” rapper and husband Offset welcomed their second child on Saturday (September 4).
Cardi took to Instagram on Monday (September 6) to share the wonderful blessing and announce the sex of her newborn: a healthy baby boy.
The photo was snapped with the parents staring lovingly at their baby while draped in a Louis Vuitton blanket with the caption “9/4/21” along with a blue heart, a dinosaur and a teddy bear emoji.
“We are so overjoyed to finally meet our son,” the couple said in a statement provided by Cardi’s representatives. “He is already loved so much by family and friends and we can’t wait to introduce him to his other siblings.”
Cardi and Offset are already parents to three-year-old Kulture and Offset has three other children from previous relationships.
Similar to their first pregnancy which Cardi revealed during an April 2018 episode of Saturday Night Live, Cardi boldly popped out at the 2021 BET Awards revealing a baby bump while dressed in a cut out jump suit. Moments later, she shared a maternity photo with her baby bump covered in white paint.
