#Fruits Basket Teams up With Japanese Red Cross for Blood Donation Drive

Fruits Basket The Final Season

After draining your tear ducts in the final episodes of Fruits Basket The Final Season, the TV anime is joining forces with the Japanese Red Cross Society for a blood donation campaign in Kanagawa prefecture. A collaboration visual–which will also appear on a clear file given out to those who donate–features Tohru Honda, Yuki Soma, and Kyo Soma in adorable nurse’s outfits.

The clear files are limited to 1,500 people, with 1,000 more people receiving a sticker. The stickers can be exchanged at participating Animate stores in Kanagawa prefecture for an original illustration. Only those who give 400mL of blood will be allowed to participate in the campaign.

On the Japanese Red Cross Society website, a post explains that the donators of blood must be of good physical condition, so watching Fruits Basket The Final Season before giving blood is not advised due to the emotions you’ll feel. Though because the campaign is limited to Japan, you’ll be fine watching the series at any time on Crunchyroll (maybe give it some time before giving blood though!).
