A popular TikToker revealed how she was able to score free merchandise at Disney World in Orlando, Florida by showing off her assets.
Amanda DiMeo posted a video about her “new Disney hack,” revealing how she got a $75 shirt for free while at the Magic Kingdom recently.
“If you’re wearing a shirt that shows a little underboob, they’ll write you a ticket when you first enter Magic Kingdom — I’m not sure about the other parks — but they’ll write you a ticket so you can get a free shirt at the nearest gift shop,” the TikTok star shared with her 800,000 followers.
“I just got a $75 T-shirt just because I was wearing a shirt that was exposing my underboob a little bit,” she explained. “So yeah, if you want free Disney shirts, that’s the hack.”
DiMeo ends the video modeling the free merchandise with a voiceover and caption, “Ok but it’s so cute and if it’s free it’s for me. thank u Disney.”
The site list several examples of “inappropriate attire” including “clothing which, by nature, exposes excessive portions of the skin that may be viewed as inappropriate for a family environment.”
In just over a week, the video has amassed 5 million likes and 128,700 shares, with most of DiMeo’s viewers applauding her score, with comments like “take advantage of misogyny,” “sis got dress-coded but Disney got finessed” and “dress-coded but add magic.”
DiMeo, who notes she is a mom and a “skripper” in her TikTok bio, also posted another video at Disney World showing off the outfit in question with the hashtag “#hotmomsummer.”
It’s not the first dress code that was met with opposition and claims of misogyny recently. A Florida high school is being criticized after it made edits to 80 yearbook pictures, adding clothes onto photos of female students without their consent claiming that the students were “out of dress code.”
Adrian Bartlett, a mother whose daughter’s photo was edited commented: “I think it sends the message that our girls should be ashamed of their growing bodies, and I think that’s a horrible message to send out to these young girls that are going through changes.”
