Odell Beckham Jr. is overwhelmed with emotion.

Speaking for the first time since suffering a torn ACL in Sunday’s game against the Bengals, the Browns wide receiver is struggling to process having an injury prematurely end his season for the third time in the past four years.

“This is really f–king tough. I really don’t have many words right now, definitely not the right ones at least,” Beckham said Friday in his Instagram story. “I couldn’t tell u why this happened. This one doesn’t make much sense, it’s not for me to question, but I believe God truly has a plan and is using me for it. Ton of emotions flowing… just taking some ME time, some time to heal. Thank u all for the Luv… be back soon.”

Since arriving in Cleveland in March 2019, Beckham, 27, has failed to replicate his superstar production with the Giants. Struggling to mesh with Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield — the duo has the worst completion percentage (55.6 percent) of any quarterback and receiver with at least 100 attempts over the past two seasons, according to ESPN — Beckham was on pace for career-low numbers this season, having recorded 23 receptions for 319 yards in seven games, along with three touchdowns.

Despite the disconnect, Beckham will likely be back in Cleveland next season, with $12.79 million in guaranteed money due to him next season.
