#Brooklyn gunfire leaves man, woman standing on corner shot in legs

A man and a woman were shot multiple times in the legs while standing on a Brooklyn corner Sunday morning, cops said.

The 21-year-old man and 20-year-old woman were at Hegeman Avenue and Milford Street in East New York around 3:20 a.m. when gunshots rang out.

He was shot twice in the left leg and she was shot three times in the right leg. It was unclear if they were the intended targets, according to the NYPD.

“It could have been random gunfire or directed,” an NYPD spokesman said.

Both were taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center and expected to survive. Police were investigating.
