An epic street fight between a rat and a pigeon in Brooklyn has gone viral on social media.
Naquazia Gresham, who filmed the wild dust-up, said she actually recorded the newly popular clip in May while out walking with a group of friends in Williamsburg.
They first saw the actual rat pounce on the rat of the sky.
“I saw the little pigeon that was hurt and it was kind staggering and injured and out of nowhere, the rat came and just literally attacked it,” Gresham, 32, told The Post on Thursday.
One of her friends immediately grabbed a metal bar to help the wounded bird.
“He said something just came over him where he was like, ‘You have to help the bird,’” she said. “So he attacked the rat to get off the bird.”
The clip — which was revived on Twitter Wednesday — ends with the bird appearing nonchalant as it hobbles away from the skirmish.
“If you’ve ever been to Brooklyn or know someone from Brooklyn then you are like, ‘that is Brooklyn for real,’” Gresham said of the battle of New York’s biggest pests.
