#Bride saves dad’s life after he collapses at wedding while dancing

A bride jumped into her nurse mode when her dad collapsed and stopped breathing while dancing to Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” at her wedding, according to a report.

Kim Leary, 37, of Chester, UK, resuscitated John Douglas, 65, after he “fell like a sack of potatoes” – then spent the night with her new hubby, Iain, 37, at the hospital with her father, The Sun reported.

“The paramedics said he was very lucky to survive. Thank God he didn’t die,” Leary told the news outlet.

“It would have turned the best day ever into the worst. I did joke I was glad he saved it for midnight and not when I was walking down the aisle,” she quipped.

The proud papa, who has suffered from heart problems for years, had taken his meds earlier in the day, but his blood pressure dropped after he drank tequila during the nuptials.

“We thought he had about five years left with the previous diagnosis,” Leary said about his coronary heart disease. “We feel relieved and so much better now.”

After spending five days in the hospital, her father got a motorized scooter to allow him to get around more easily.
