Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk got fans’ hearts beating faster this week with those PDA pics! As you probably saw, the exes — and co-parents to Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper — were looking very coupled up while walking their dogs in NYC on Monday. They were so snuggly, Irina even squeezed the American Sniper star’s cheeks at one point! And not the ones on his face!

Seemed like a total confirmation they were back together again, right? Especially after those vacation pics? Butt not so fast…

According to a source spilling to People magazine on Tuesday, it’s not a full-on reconciliation. At least not yet. The insider confirmed the pair “have both been single and started hanging out more together.” But they aren’t a couple again. Not officially. Not yet. Not until Irina gets her way anyway. Per the source:

“She would like for them to be back together.”

Wow! So is all the time they’ve been spending together leading to more? The source says:

“Irina is very happy to spend time with Bradley. She very much loves him.”

The way this insider tells it, the supermodel has carried a torch for her ex all this time! That’s about the length of it:

“After they split, she missed him.”

Whoa! From what we heard back in the day, it was Irina who called things off with the Nightmare Alley actor back in 2019, after four years together. At the time a source told ET Irina “wanted more from Bradley in every way” and thought “they would find the time to marry” — which never happened:

“Recently Irina decided enough is enough. She didn’t feel she was getting the level of commitment she wanted and the endless fighting made their life unbearable. They are very different people and once they realized it was the baby that was holding them together, it was time to call it quits.”

So what changed? Apparently a big part of it was the co-parenting. People‘s source says they just haven’t been fighting like they did during their relationship — and the co-parenting has really brought them together:

“She feels very proud how they have been able to get along and co-parent their beautiful daughter. Irina loves watching Bradley with their daughter. He is a wonderful dad.”

So will they end up together? We guess the ball is in BCoop’s court on that one!
