AniMoon Publishing has announced the first details about the German disc release of the series «BOFURI»!
As early as July 2020 we reported that AniMoon had secured the license for the series “BOFURI: I Don’t Want to Get Hurt, so I’ll Max Out My Defense”. Now the publisher has announced the first details about the upcoming disc release.
So should Volume 1 of the anime on February 26, 2021 appear on DVD and Blu-ray. This comes as a Limited Mediabook Edition with a slipcase and booklet. The other extras will be announced at a later date. The second volume comes afterwards on 16. April 2021 in the trade that third volume follows on 28. May 2021.
“BOFURI” celebrated its premiere in Japan in January 2020. In this country the series was at WAKANIM shown in simulcast at the same time. It is based on an online novel series by the author Yuumikan that has been published since 2016. A second season of the anime is expected in the year To be released in Japan in 2022. In addition to the anime adaptation, there is also a light novel and manga version.
