#Bodycam video shows Phoenix cops rescue man from burning car

Dramatic bodycam footage shows the moment Phoenix cops pull an unconscious man from a burning SUV.

The video, posted on Twitter by police this week, shows the officers in the Arizona city on March 25 dashing to the vehicle, which can be seen engulfed in flames with the driver inside.

“Do you have something blunt?” one of the officers asks the other as he frantically tries to smash the window of the burning SUV.

Finally, he smashes the driver’s side window and pulls the man out.

“I got no heartbeat,” the officer is heard saying. “I’m doing chest compressions.”

“C’mon buddy,” he tells the man. “You got this. Come back.”

The man finally comes to.

“Yes!” the cops are heard saying.

Neither the officer nor the driver were identified.

“In situations where we don’t have time to hesitate, our training kicks in, and that could mean the difference between life and death,” Phoenix police said in the Twitter post.

“The driver in this incident continues to recover at the hospital,” the post said. “Thank you @PHXFire for the assistance. #ThisIsWhatWeDo.

The driver suffered a medical emergency while driving and crashed, according to the Daily Caller.
