“”BOCCHI THE ROCK!” Kessoku Band Album Dominates Oricon’s Three Weekly Charts”

The official Twitter for the TV anime BOCCHI THE ROCK! announced on January 6 that “BOCCHI THE ROCK! Song Album Kessoku Band” ranked No.1 on Oricon’s latest three weekly charts – the weekly total album chart (CD sales and digital sales combined), the weekly CD album charts, and the weekly digital album chart (for two conseutive weeks).

The album featuring 14 songs performed by the in-show band Kessoku Band was releeased in Japan on December 28, 2022. According to Oricon, it sold an impressive 72,553 copies in its first week, which was enough to take the top spot of the weekly chart.　It also reached 17,756 downloads on the digital album chart, collecting 93,741 points on the total album chart.
