# Blue Reflection: Second Light details Mio Hirahara, requests, dates, Talents, and Fragments

Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Gust have released new information and screenshots for Blue Reflection: Second Light, revealing new character Mio Hirahara, and offering new details on requests, dates, Talents, and Fragments.

■ Characters

Mio Hirahara (voiced by Reina Ueda)

“How could I forget? I’ll never forget you, Hiori.”

A girl who suddenly appears at the academy after the other students have already arrived. Hiori’s older sister. She is calm about everything and has a somewhat fickle atmosphere. She has lost all of her memories, except those of her younger sister. And while Mio wants to stay close to her younger sister, Hiori begins to push her away. Can the two sisters strengthen their bond while solving the mysteries surrounding their unexplained vanishing from the real world?

Mio Hirahara also appears in the anime Blue Reflection: Ray, and is one of the key characters that tie together the stories of Blue Reflection: Ray and Blue Reflection: Second Light.

—Mio cherishes her younger sister Hiroi and wants to be a good sister to her.

—While she is usually not very expressive, she sometimes shows a kind gaze to those she trusts.

■ World: Everyone’s Welcome Party

Kokoro, Yuki, and Rena, who were in this world before Ao and the others, decide to host a welcome party for the newcomers. The three seem to be thinking about welcome party plans as they each prefer it, but…

■ World: Mio and Hiori’s Relationship

Mio is always worried about her younger sister Hiori, but Hiori seems to have something on her mind… The shocked Mio asks Ao for advice.

■ World

One day, while exploring the academy, the heroines notice something out of place. The seemingly endless blue skies begin to crumble, and a crack appears above the school. What dangers lie ahead as the students attempt to unravel the secrets of their strange new surroundings?

Huge torii gates, mysterious spaces in which the moon shines through, wind power generators of various sizes, and lighthouses line the Heartscape. In the Heartscape, things that existed in the real world where Ao and company once lived reappear in distorted form.

■ System

Requests

As you progress through the story, the girls who you live alongside may make requests. These range from simple preparation of ingredients to crafting and developing facilities that the girls may have an emotional attachment to. By fulfilling these requests, you will be rewarded with a helpful item or craft recipe.

Dates

You will also be able to go on dates. The closer you become, the more conversations you will have on the move—and you can eventually even hold hands. During the date, you may also receive a Fragment—crystals of emotions. The type of Fragment you receive depends on your dialogue choices.

Talents

By clearing requests and going on dates, you can deepen your bonds and earn Talent Points (TP). By using TP, you can develop your characters.

Fragments

Crystals of the girls’ emotions. By equipping Fragments, the girls can unlock special abilities.
