#Blue Lock’s Seishiro Nagi, Reo Mikage Display Physiques on Tarzan Magazine Cover

Blue Lock‘s Seishiro Nagi and Reo Mikage are gracing the cover of men’s health and lifestyle magazine Tarzan for the special edition of its stomach-themed 878th issue, which goes on sale in Japan on April 18. The collaboration commemorates the April 19 Japanese premiere of Blue Lock The Movie -Episode Nagi-.

Aside from the cover illustration of a shirtless Seishiro and Reo, the special edition issue will have an eight-page feature that includes an analysis of their performance in Blue Lock Season 1 by former professional soccer player Tomoaki Makino and “Nagi x Reo no Taikan Training” (Nagi x Reo’s Trunk Training) illustrations.

Episode Nagi is based on the Blue Lock spin-off manga of the same name, which has Seishiro as the point-of-view character. Crunchyroll will distribute the film in North America and select international locations sometime this year.

The Episode Nagi manga began serialization in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine in 2022 and has three tankoubon volumes as of September 2023. The main Blue Lock series, which has a second anime season in production, started in 2018 and is described by Kodansha USA as:
