Blue Archive Drops 6th Animated Trailer

NEXON Games‘ Blue Archive RPG recently received its sixth animated trailer, which provides a high-octane experience with a bucketload of action involving mecha and other mechanical objects.

gesoikuo (no stranger to Blue Archive-related animations) and Tatsuya Fukumoto (a compositor who shares color grading credits with gesoikuo on Blue Archive The Animation‘s opening) worked together to storyboard and direct Blue Archive‘s sixth PV. They’re also co-credited for pre-visualization and project management.

Some of the other production credits include:

• Compositing supervisor: GRAPHINICA’s Keisuke Nozawa (Vivy -Fluorite Eye’s Song- compositing director)

Blue Archive was first released in Japan in February 2021 for iOS and Android, with a Global version following in November 2021. It was announced earlier this month during a Kivotos! ~Live~ stream that the Global version will be released on Steam in summer 2025.

Yostar Inc. publishes the Japanese version of the free-to-play “Youth x Academy x Military RPG,” while NEXON Company publishes the global version. The Japanese version is getting a new, railway-themed event called “Highlander -Tetsudou Bousou Jiken~Soshite Ressha wa Nakunatta~,” which launches on April 22 JST and runs until May 7 at 10:59 PM JST. The event sees Highlander Railroad Academy’s Hikari and Nozomi being entrusted with the delivery of “a certain” item, with Aoba joining as a mechanic.

A TV anime inspired by the game, titled Blue Archive The Animation, aired during the Spring 2024 anime season. Blue Archive has inspired manga as well.
