#Disney + misses “Bleach” new voice cast

Table of Contents

The streaming provider Disney+ is now showing the new anime series from “Bleach” in German dubbing. With one big change.

Has been showing for a few weeks Disney+ the first part of “Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War” in the original Japanese with English subtitles on its streaming service. Now Disney has finally added German dubbing and German subtitles to its range. All 13 episodes of the season are now available on Disney+. The old “Bleach” series, on the other hand, is still only available in the Japanese original with subtitles.

But “Bleach” fans at Disney+ now have to be prepared for a major change: while the old episodes were still being dubbed by KAZÉ at G&G Studios in Kaarst, Disney+ is now almost completely recasting the new “Bleach” series from Munich. The main character, Ichigo Kurosaki, is now spoken by Felix Mayer and no longer by Konrad Bösherz. Leslie-Vanessa Lill has added Rukia Kuchiki’s voice to her work. Antje von der Ahe lent her voice in the first series. Countless other characters have been recast. Why the change in almost all roles is currently not known.
