BLEACH Mimics Star Wars’ Andor for New Collaboration Visual

The BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War anime has received a collaboration visual, with the collaboration partner being the Star Wars spin-off series Andor

BLEACH‘s take on the Andor Season 2 poster replaces Cassian Andor with Uryu Ishida and features several members of the Wandenreich. Additionally, Ichigo Kurosaki is placed at the bottom in lieu of Stormtroopers. The social media caption draws a parallel between Uryu challenging his destiny and Andor opposing overwhelming power.

The BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War anime premiered in 2022 and has three non-consecutive cours so far. The next cour, BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, Part 4 – The Calamity, is on its way.

The anime adapts the last story arc of Tite Kubo‘s Bleach manga, where Soul Society is matched against the Quincy king Yhwach and his army.

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War and Andor are both available on Disney+. Andor is a spin-off of the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story film, itself a spin-off of the main Star Wars series. The show sheds light on the character Cassian Andor and the early efforts of the rebellion against the Galactic Empire.
