“#”Black Clover” Asta VA Gakuto Kajiwara Shows His Natural Face in New MV “Kimi Drops””
The official YouTube channel for voice actor Gakuto Kajiwara, best known as Asta in Black Clover and Shinra Kusakabe in Fire Force, has posted a music video for “Kimi Drops,” the second song from his forthcoming first mini-album “Dokoka no Kimi ni,” following “Funny Bunny” posted last week.
While working as a popular anime voice actor, he made his solo singer debut from avex pictures with his first single “A WALK” (Black Clover 12th cour ED theme) on November 25, 2020, then opened his official YouTube channel for his musical activities on August 6 of this year.
“Kimi Drops” is a cover of the four-member Japanese rock band TRIPLANE‘s 10th single song originally released in February 2010. It is a love song whose honest lyrics “That’s because I met you that I love” are impressive. The music video includes scenes that make the viewers feel that they are sitting in the passenger seat of his car, and also shows a glimpse of his natural face.
“Dokoka no Kimi ni” (To you, somewhere out there) will be available in Japan on October 20, 2021. Ahead of the CD release, three more cover songs from the album will be released weekly from September 6 to October 4.
