Aniplex confirmed today that the anime film adaptation of Natsuki Kizu's boys-love manga given has earned 220 million yen on over 150,000 admissions from its two-month domestic run. It was previously reported by the anime's official Twitter that the film sold one million tickets in its first four weeks. The 59-minute film released on August 22 stayed at No.1 on Kogyotsushinsha's Mini Theater Ranking for five consecutive weeks.

It had only 30 theaters in its opening weekend. Due to the initial box office success and critical acclaims, 54 more theaters across Japan were added from September 25. So another 50,000 tickets were sold thanks in part to those added theaters.

It is also announced that the film's DVD and Blu-ray are set to be released in Japan on February 3, 2021. Its perfect limited production edition set will come with a three-way spine case newly drawn by the manga author Natsuki Kizu, an original soundtrack CD, a character design sheet book, a special booklet with a newly-drawn manga by Kizu, and illustration cards. And the set's bonus disc will include the film's trailers, CMs, and special footage featuring the main cast members' talk sessions that were screened in theaters for a limited time.
