#Vanessa Bryant finds ‘Sex and the City’ finale dress Kobe gifted her

Vanessa Bryant revealed that her late husband Kobe gifted her the green dress Sarah Jessica Parker wore in the 2004 series finale of “Sex and the City.”

Vanessa Bryant is sharing a glimpse at a sweet gift from her late husband, Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.

She took to Instagram Monday to share a photo of the iconic green dress Sarah Jessica Parker wore in the series finale of “Sex and the City,” along with an image from the 2004 episode.

“I love you my baby @kobebryant,” Bryant, 38, wrote. “I found this beautiful dress Kob gifted me a long time ago. Not going to lie, I was taken back with emotion. He was SO romantic. Still showing me he ❤️’s me from Heaven. Love you forever boo-boo.”

In the caption of her post, Bryant elaborated on the thoughtful present. “#SexandtheCity When Mr. Big comes and gets Carrie back. Paris. Missing my boo-boo and my sweet girl,” she wrote. “So nice to have found this dress today. You set the bar so high baby. No love like REAL LOVE❤.”

Carrie Bradshaw’s vintage seafoam frock isn’t the only piece of fashion history that Bryant received from the basketball great, who tragically died in a helicopter crash along with the couple’s 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, in January.

In an emotional speech at Kobe’s February memorial service, Bryant revealed that her husband also gifted her the blue dress Rachel McAdams’ character wore in the 2004 film “The Notebook,” saying, “He was truly the romantic one in our relationship.”

“When I asked him why he chose the blue dress, he said it was because it was the scene when Allie comes back to Noah. We had hoped to grow old together like the movie,” Bryant explained.

“The Notebook” costume designer Karyn Wagner said she was “bawling” when Bryant mentioned her work, and that she “had zero idea” the Bryants were in possession of the special costume.

“I’m still drying the tears off my face. What a beautiful eulogy,” Wagner told The Hollywood Reporter at the time. “I’m so honored that I was able to contribute in some small way to the history of this amazing man.”
