#Biden’s $6T budget will radically reshape, bankrupt America

President Joe Biden’s first, eye-popping $6 trillion budget proposal for 2022 makes it official: He means to permanently enlarge the federal government and to lock in eternal Democratic control of Washington.

His “vision” has Uncle Sam spending as much, as a percentage of GDP, as at the height of World War II — forever. Indeed, the budget would rise to $8.2 trillion a year by 2031.

But not to defeat the evils of Nazism and Japanese imperialism, but for … electric cars, highly paid (and unionized) home health aides and universal day care (packaged as “pre-school”).

Of course, Americans might need that “free” day care since both parents will need to work to pay their bills, as Washington’s vast spending through his $1.9 trillion “relief” bill already has inflation soaring and economic growth slowing.

Plus, his plan means $1.3 trillion yearly budget deficits for the next decade, putting future generations deeply in debt. And he’s breaking his promise to not hike taxes on those earning less than $400,000, since he assumes Congress will allow all the Trump tax cuts to lapse in a few years.

His tax hikes on business and investors kick in not just immediately, but last month: They’re to be literally retroactive to April. That news already has companies rethinking their plans to bounce back strong as the pandemic is ending.

The only real winners here are the vast new classes of government-paid and -subsidized workers he’d create — loyal to the Democratic Party and paying dues to left-wing, pro-big-government unions.

This is not what America needs, nor what it voted for last November: Biden won swing voters by suggesting he’d give the country normalcy after all the noise of the Trump years. But while as president he’s been a heckuva lot quieter, his agenda is anything but normal: It’s a radical bid to transform the nation.

If the actual moderates who hold the balance of power in Congress have any sense, this budget should get marked dead on arrival.
