#Love Live! Sunshine!! VA Unit Aqours Releases Their First Live-action MV “DREAMY COLOR”

Following the teaser posted early this month, the official YouTube channel for the Love Live! franchise has finally started streaming a five-minute full music video for “DREAMY COLOR,” the latest song of Love Live! Sunshine!! series’ nine-member VA unit Aqours. This is their first live-action MV featuring the member themselves, instead of their anime characters, in their six-year activity period.

The song is featured as the theme song for “We Are Challengers Project” to celebrate the unit’s sixth anniversary, and its MV will be included in a bonus Blu-ray for the HOLOGRAM EDITION (First limited production edition) of “Aqours CLUB CD SET 2021” to be released on June 30, 2021. 

The video was directed by Atsunori Toushi, known for his MV works for AKB48, BUMP OF CHICKEN, GLAY, and Gesu no Kiwami Otome. It was filmed in Numazu-city, Shizuoka Prefecture, which was the anime story’s main location. Chika Takami VA Anju Inami writes on Twitter, “We shot the video in the precious places where Chika-chan and her friends were born and raised, tasting each and every one of them. A dreamy adventure. A lot of gratitude and fun.”
