#Doris Burke likens end of Celtics-76ers series to a ‘bad date’

Doris Burke’s reign as the unofficial MVP of the NBA bubble continues.

On Sunday, the ESPN commentator — who comically shaded her ex-husband during a previous broadcast — dropped another surprising, albeit relatable comment during Game 4 of the Celtics-Sixers series, in which Boston and Philadelphia seemingly trudged to the finish line of the one-sided series.

“The end of this game feels like a bad date. It is taking forever,” Burke remarked with 6.5 seconds left on the clock.

Fortunately for Burke, Boston closed out the series with a 110-106 victory over Philadelphia, advancing to the second round of the playoffs. And much like her viral comment about ex Gregg Burke from earlier this month, Twitter had plenty to say about Burke’s impeccable delivery.

“Doris Burke is phenomenal in these broadcast,” one fan tweeted.

“Doris Burke is the best in the business,” another penned.

Though Burke didn’t call out a certain superstar — ahem, Kevin Durant — in her commentary, it appears the Nets forward has yet to react to her latest soundbite.
