#Behind-The-Scenes at Aniplex Online Fest 2024

During Aniplex Online Fest 2024, Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online Season 2 revealed a new key visual and trailer alongside October 4 premiere date. In attendance during the segment at Aniplex Online Fest 2024 included the main cast members: Tomori Kusunoki as LLENN/Karen Kohiruimaki, Yoko Hikasa as Pitohui/Elsa Kanzaki, Kazuyuki Okitsu as M/Goshi Asogi and Chinatsu Akasaki as Fukaziroh/Miyu Shinohara. However, they all arrived on stage in style: by riding in a Jeep. 

The Jeep is real. Somehow, Aniplex was able to get a functioning Jeep Wrangler Sahara onto the stage for Aniplex Online Fest. The vehicle also had a custom GGO license plate with the anime logo. During the rehearsal, the engines came alive as it drove onto the stop and reversed back to its position. 

Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online is based on the light novel series written by Kino’s Journey‘s Keiichi Sigsawa and illustrated by Kouhaku Kuroboshi. The series, which is published under KADOKAWA’s Dengeki Bunko label, began in 2014 and has 13 tankoubon volumes as of March 2023. The light novels have also inspired a manga adaptation illustrated by Tadachi Tamori.
