#Beastars Final Season Part 1 Premieres December 2024, Releases New Visual

Netflix has released a new key visual for the upcoming Beastars Final Season, which revealed that Part 1 will be released sometime in December 2024. A premiere date for Part 2 has yet to be revealed.
The visual showcases the main character, Legoshi, being watched by two mysterious creatures.

Shinichi Matsumi and Nanami Higuchi both return from the anime’s first two seasons as director and scriptwriter, respectively. Orange returns to handle the animation production for the final season.
The previous Beastars seasons consisted of Nao Ootsu as character designer, Eiji Inomoto as chief CG director, Minami Kasuga as art director, Satoshi Hashimoto as color designer, and Satoru Kosaki as music composer. Shiori Furusho and Chae Baek Ryun served as compositing directors on Season 1, while Season 2 only had Chae in the role.
The first season of Beastars premiered in October 2019 in Japan and had its global release by Netflix in early 2020. Season 2 arrived in 2022, first airing in Japan from January to March 2022 before being streamed globally by Netflix in July of the same year. The Final Season was announced in September 2022.

The anime is based on the original manga series by Paru Itagaki, which ran in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shonen Champion magazine from September 8, 2016 to October 8, 2020. A total of 22 tankobon volumes were released. VIZ Media releases the manga in English for North America.
Netflix describes the synopsis of Beastars as:
In a world where beasts of all kinds coexist, a gentle wolf awakens to his own predatory urges as his school deals with a murder within its midst.
