#BanG Dream! FILM LIVE 2nd Stage Begins Its Gig in Theaters on August 20, 2021

 

 

Bushiroad announced in the latest live-streaming program last night that BanG Dream! FILM LIVE 2nd Stage, the second animation live concert film in the BanG Dream! franchise, is set to be released in Japanese theaters on August 20, 2021. Its tagline is “Bring You the Greatest Live, Once Again!”

 

BanG Dream! FILM LIVE 2nd Stage is following the 72-minute first film BanG Dream! FILM LIVE released in September 2019. In addition to the five bands appeared in the first film – Poppin’Party, Afterglow, Pastel*Palettes, Roselia, and Hello, Happy World!, two more bands from the franchise – Morfonica and RAISE A SUILEN – are confirmed to perform in the second film.

 

Also, a special CD “BanG Dream! FILM LIVE 2nd Stage Special Songs,” which includes newly-written songs for the film, is set to be released on August 25, 2021. The bonus Blu-ray of its limited production edition will contain the first film BanG Dream! FILM LIVE, which has never been released in video package format.

In addition, a special live-streaming program for BanG Dream! Episode of Roselia I: Yakusoku (Promise)the first part of the two-part film series focusing on the members of Roselia, is scheduled to be streamed on the franchise’s official YouTube channel from 22:00 (JST) / 05:00 (PT) on March 31, 2021. A lot of new information about the film to be released in Japan on April 23 will be revealed.
