#Bam Margera says he’s fired from ‘Jackass 4’

Bam Margera has revealed that he’s officially fired from “Jackass 4” — days after announcing he was seeking treatment for mental health issues.

Sources close to the 41-year-old said producers informed him last week that he would no longer be part of the film sequel because he broke his contract by not getting his addiction issues in check, TMZ reported.

The outlet went on to claim that the “Jackass” family is concerned about Margera’s well-being — and wanted him to be a part of the project — but worried he would self-sabotage because of his past substance abuse issues.

Paramount has not responded to The Post’s requests for comment. Reps for the show’s director and writer Jeff Tremaine, as well as writer and co-creator Johnny Knoxville, also did not respond to The Post’s requests for comment.

Margera announced last Friday that he was getting help after a series of disturbing videos posted earlier that week.

The entertainer had fans worried after they viewed the initial clips, which detailed his grievances with the film, set to open Sept. 3. At the time, Margera was still on the cast list for the movie on IMDb — he has since been removed — but claimed he was shut out of the production and called for a boycott.

In his follow-up video released on his Instagram, Margera revealed “some good news. I realized that I’m manic bipolar and yesterday, I had to go . . . crazy because of not knowing the answer for a year and a half whether we’re doing ‘Jackass’ or not. I had . . . to deal with the madness to finally know the answer.”

However, sources told TMZ that the “Jackass 4” production team presented Margera with conditions he would need to abide by to continue on the project. Among them: routine drug tests, including breathalyzers and urinalysis, seeing a psychologist, taking proper meds — and an overall commitment to staying sober.

He reportedly failed to live up to the deal.

Margera’s public downfall underscores the myriad issues the franchise’s actors have experienced since “Jackass” premiered on MTV in 2000. The breakout hit showcased wild stunts in a world before iPhones, social media and YouTube, airing for two years and eventually morphing into nine films and four spinoffs, including “Viva la Bam,” featuring Margera and his family.

But behind the scenes, key players struggled. With their daring stunts came injuries, followed by painkillers, followed — in some cases — by addiction.

Margera previously addressed his alcoholism during a 2016 episode of VH1’s “Family Therapy With Dr. Jenn.”

“My first drink, I was 21 and I never drank before that,” he said on the show. “When I really started drinking, I was probably 24, 25 . . . It just slowly became waking up and sipping on a drink as soon as I got up . . . one is too many but a thousand is never enough.”

In 2018, Margera was arrested for DUI and went to rehab. Since then, he’s been open about his battle, and even begged Dr. Phil for help in 2019.

“Dr. Phil, I need your help in a big, big way,” a distressed Margera said in a video post. “My family is in shambles. It’s worse than it’s ever been, ever.”

After appearing on the show, he checked back into rehab that month.

Now, Margera lives in Oceanside, California, with his wife, and said via his social-media videos that he’s making new friends and pursuing the things he loves, such as skateboarding.
