November 10, on the CD release day of voice actress Aya Uchida‘s (Kotori Minami in Love Live!) sixth single “Canary Yellow” in Japan, her official YouTube channel posted a full music video for the song for the first time. The CD single ranked seventh in Oricon’s daily single charts on ist first day.

Following the first season’s “Pale Blue,” “Canary Yellow” has been featured as the ED theme song for the ongoing second season of the TV anime Let’s Make a Mug Too. As in “Pale Blue,” hisakuni wrote/composed/arranged the song. In the released music video, she appears in a yellow outfit with a yellow mug by her side, and her impressive finger dance expresses the world view like vivid flowers are sprouting.

Following the first season in the spring 2021 season, the second season of the TV anime Let’s Make a Mug Too premiered in Japan on October 1, 2021, and has also been simulcast on Crunchyroll to its members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
