The disclaimer appears at the bottom of the registration page for the rally next Friday night at the BOK Center in Tulsa.
“By clicking register below, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present,” the message reads.
“By attending the Rally, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.; BOK Center; ASM Global; or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury.”
Trump on Wednesday announced his intention to hold the Tusla rally, along with upcoming events Arizona, Florida and North Carolina.
On Thursday, his campaign made next Friday’s rally official.
Trump values his rallies — the last of which was held on March 2 in Charlotte, North Carolina — as a way to speak directly to his base.
In an Oval Office interview last month, Trump told The Post that he would be at a “big disadvantage” if COVID-19 prevented rallies before November.
“I hope we’re going to be able to get the rallies back before the election. I actually think it’s very important,” Trump said in the interview.
