Arnold Schwarzenegger updated fans following his horrific car accident yesterday, saying his main concern is for the others involved.

Arnold Schwarzenegger has given fans an update on the car accident that he was involved in yesterday, assuring them that he is ok, but also showing a lot of concern for the woman who was injured as a result of the crash. While we are used to seeing his character in the Terminator movies, and many other action roles, walking away from burning cars and devastating wreckage, it is sometimes hard to remember that in real life, Schwarzenegger is still just human and there was a strong chance that he could have been hurt in the accident. The news of his involvement in a multi-car collision on Friday raised concerns for the actor and former Governor of California, but it seems that he managed to escape serious injury. TMZ obtained images from the scene that show just how bad the accident was.

In a statement issued by his representatives and reported by PEOPLE, Schwarzenegger was doing “fine” and was more concerned about the woman who sustained injuries in the incident. While her condition is not thought to be life-threatening, it is obvious that the actor will be concerned for her welfare. The statement simply read:

“He [Schwarzenegger] is fine, his only concern right now is for the woman who was injured.”

While details of the crash are still emerging, what is known so far suggests that the accident involving Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Yukon and two other vehicles was a terrifying ordeal for all involved and could have ended much worse than it apparently did. Reports have detailed Schwarzenegger’s vehicle crashing into a Toyota Prius with enough force to cause the Yukon to roll over the second car and land on a Porsche Cayenne. The female driver of one of the other vehicles was transported to hospital in an ambulance from the scene, while the other parties involved were allowed to leave the scene, with no arrests made in connection with the incident.


There has been no confirmation of what caused the accident, but the important thing is that it seems no one was seriously injured. Schwarzenegger himself has had a lot of personal matters going on recently, with his daughter, Katherine, announcing that she is expecting her second child with Chris Pratt, and his divorce from Maria Shriver being finalized after ten years, so the confirmation of him being OK after the crash is something that everyone will be thankful for. As the actor has made clear, all thoughts can now be with the hospitalized woman from the accident to wish her a speedy recovery from her injuries.

Schwarzenegger is next set to appear onscreen in Kung Fury 2 as “The President,” and while thanks to the Covid pandemic, he hasn’t had many other movies going into production, it will not likely be too long before the action hero is back in front of the camera for more movie magic.
