Christmas came early for fans of Ariana Grande, who’s bidding 2020 “thank u, next” with a revealing new documentary.
Ari dropped “excuse me, i love you” overnight on Netflix — exactly one year after wrapping her “Sweetener” world tour.
The 27-year-old superstar singer called the project a “love letter to u all” in a teaser she posted on social media earlier this month.
Clocking in at 97 minutes, “excuse me, i love u’ features the pony-tailed “Positions” performer cycling through some of her greatest hits, including “7 Rings,” “Dangerous Woman,” and “Side to Side” from her London stop. Grande also shares intimate backstage glimpses, rehearsal footage, and life on the road.
Diehard fans flooded Twitter with their (perhaps a little biased) glowing reviews.
“Omg watching now. Can’t stop smiling. Currently sobbing,” posts one Arianator.
“The Netflix #excusemeiloveyou documentary for @ArianaGrande’s Sweetener World Tour isn’t just a documentary, it’s a lifestyle, it’s a religion, it’s a reason to wake up in the morning. It’s something that breaks the constant sad monotony in life,” another Ari fan tweeted.
The highly anticipated concert release caps an eventful weekend for the multi-octave crooner, who announced her engagement to boyfriend Dalton Gomez on Instagram over the weekend with a close-up shot of her dual-stone engagement ring.
In March, Page Six confirmed the relationship between Grande and Dalton, a real estate agent. He appeared in Grande’s music video for “Stuck with U” in May. Over the summer, Grande and Gomez also became Instagram official.
