Apple will reopen its New York City stores by appointment this week after the coronavirus shuttered them for three months.

The iPhone-maker’s 10 retail locations will open their doors this week for the first time since March, it said in a statement, allowing customers to schedule appointments for order pickups or device repairs.

The Cupertino, Calif.-based company did not say which day the stores will reopen or what the hours for reopening will be, and told customers to check its website.

Apple’s global flagship store on Fifth Avenue will be among locations that are reopening, along with other stores in Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island and Brooklyn.

“This week we’ll return to serving customers in many more US locations including by appointment in New York City, where we’re proud to stand beside New Yorkers as they emerge from this incredibly difficult time,” Apple said.

Visitors to the stores will be required to “practice additional steps for the health of employees and customers,” Apple said, “including temperature checks, face coverings and social distancing.”

Apple first closed its stores for two weeks on March 4, before extending the closure “indefinitely” on March 17. It began reopening locations in May.
