#Anya Taylor-Joy and Malcolm McRae Tie the Knot in Venice

Anya Taylor-Joy and Malcolm McRae tied the knot in Venice.

Vogue reported Friday that the Emmy-nominated actress got married this week, wearing an unconventional embroidered beige dress. And for her second look, Taylor-Joy wore a white, A-line minidress with a corseted top, according to the magazine.

The actress and musician hosted a formal wedding ceremony in Italy, with guests like Cara Delevingne, Nicholas Hoult, Julia Garner, Evan Ross and more reportedly in attendance.

The festivities came a little over a year after a source told Page Six that they had secretly gotten married in July 2022, but neither Taylor-Joy nor McRae have confirmed the news

The couple has been incredibly private about their relationship with neither publicly voicing they are an item despite attending red carpets together and public displays of affection. Taylor-Joy first mentioned having a partner in March 2021 but did not provide details about how long they had been together.

In her March 2022 British Vogue cover story, the Queen’s Gambit star gave a brief look at her and McRae’s dynamic.

“I said to my partner the other day that he was my hobby,” she told the publication. “I see reading as something that I have to do. He loved it because he’s the same. I’ve finally found someone who will happily sit in silence with me reading. We’re basically 80 years old and 7 at the same time, and it works really well.”

She also got candid about how the two made things despite often being long distance, as she has a house in London and travels regularly for films and TV shows.

“It is [hard], but it’s also kind of great because when you’re together you’re really valuing the time that you have,” she said. “Everyday mundane activities are so full of joy. I love going to the petrol station with him and filling up the car and going to get breakfast.”
