#Annie Kilner ‘stuck in the middle’ of $1 million WAG war between Coleen Rooney, Becky Vardy

Annie Kilner, the former love of UK soccer star Kyle Walker, has vowed to stay neutral in the $1 million legal battle between fellow WAGs (wives and girlfriends) Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy.

“I’m stuck in the middle and it’s not nice to see this play out,” Kilner said, according to The Sun, adding that she gets along with both of them.

In October, Rooney — the wife of British-born soccer player Wayne Rooney — accused Vardy of sharing stories about her with The Sun, calling the ordeal “a burden in [her] life for a few years now.”

Vardy, who is married to Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, addressed Rooney’s claims on social media, writing that “I never speak to anyone about you as various journalists who have asked me to over the years can vouch for.”

In May, Rooney and Vardy reportedly took their legal dispute to an arbiter, but the matter wasn’t resolved. It’s possible they take the matter to a higher court, though Rooney reportedly axed her legal team earlier this month amid the costly battle estimated to be worth one million in euros, which is worth slightly more in American dollars.

“When Coleen posted her infamous Wagatha Christie allegations, she thought it was a total certainty she was in the right,” a source previously told The Sun after Rooney used an Instagram sting to out the person in her life revealing personal secrets.

“But now she’s been told she may have made some mistakes along the way and is keen to shift the blame to anyone else. It’s a total mess,” the insider said.

Kilner believes the friendships between Rooney and Vardy is over for good.

“I can’t ever see a time when they could be in the same room as each other. The friendship they had is over,” Kilner said. “Even if it is resolved in the High Court this will rumble on forever.”

Kilner, who split from Walker in May 2019 after nine years together, also spoke about the ladies’ personalities.

“Becky doesn’t air her dirty laundry but she enjoys the limelight and, as much as people judge Becky, in ­person she’s not like that,”  Kilner said, noting Coleen is “like a closed book.

“Coleen is extremely private and gives away very little,” she said.

As for the situation itself, Kilner said, “If Becky was responsible for ­leaking stories then it’s just wrong. Only she knows the truth.

“But if she hasn’t done it I feel sorry for her.”
