Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club‘s Nijiyon 4-koma spin-off is getting a short anime adaptation titled Nijiyon Animation. The show will premiere on TOKYO MX and BS11 sometime in January 2023.

A teaser visual was also released. More details will be revealed later.

The Nijiyon manga is available on the Love Live! website and on the Love Live! Series YouTube Channel as a voiced video. The spin-off by Hito Miyako began in 2018 and has four “seasons” so far. Kadokawa publishes the tankoubon volumes.

As for its parent show, Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club‘s first season aired from October to December 2020 for 13 episodes, while the second season aired from April to June 2022 with 13 episodes. Unlike the other titles in the Love Live! multimedia project, Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club features the concept of solo idols instead of the franchise’s usual groups.
