#Anime Expo Hosts “Lite” 2021 Live Stream Event on July 3 & 4

The Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation formally announced that Anime Expo will be hosting the second “Anime Expo Lite” live stream event from July 3rd, 2021 to July 4th, 2021. Unlike the first live stream event in 2020, the second Anime Expo Lite will be a paid event. 

Admittance to the 2021 live stream is charged at $5 USD per ticket. All proceeds will be donated to the Hate is a Virus commUNITY Action Fund, an organization dedicated to dismantling racism and supporting the AAPI community in the United States. 

Once the stream ends on July 4, ticket holders will have the exclusive benefits of rewatching the live stream’s contents and accessing additional programming on a VOD basis between July 5-July 16. 

Anime Lite 2021 marks the 30th anniversary of the convention in Southern California. The livestream will feature programs from industry partners such as Bushiroad, Bandai Namco Arts, Crunchyroll, Right Stuf Anime, Viz Media, and much more. More content and programming details will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
