#Alleged gunman arrested in fatal shooting of NJ high school student

Cops have arrested a 20-year-old man in the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old high school student at a New Jersey school sports field, two months after the teen was gunned down, police said Friday.

Yohan Hernandez, of Newark, NJ, was taken into custody late Thursday and charged with murder, aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, according to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office.

Hernandez is accused of killing Moussa Fofana, an 11th-grade student at Columbia High School, at Underhill Field in Maplewood around 9:40 p.m. on June 6, cops said.

Another male student, a 17-year-old whose name was not released, was also shot but was treated at a nearby hospital for a gunshot wound to the leg and survived.

The motive for the shooting was not released.
