Alan Arkin is done with “Method” acting.

The 86-year-old Oscar-winner is leaving the two-time Golden Globe-winning comedy “The Kominsky Method” after just two seasons, according to Deadline. Netflix confirmed his departure to The Post, noting that it was not a recent decision.

Arkin plays acting coach Sandy Kominsky’s (Michael Douglas) curmudgeonly friend and agent Norman Newlander in the Chuck Lorre series. His character’s disappearance will reportedly be addressed in the Netflix show’s third season.

Arkin was nominated for a 2020 Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, but lost to “Schitt’s Creek” star and creator Daniel Levy. He also was nominated in 2019.

Arkin follows a series of high-profile show departures this year, including “Mom” star Anna Faris, who surprisingly left that sitcom before Season 8 started filming this month; “Batwoman” superhero Ruby Rose, who abruptly left the CW drama after the first season (and will be replaced by “God Friended Me” alum Javicia Leslie in Season 2); and “Superstore” actress America Ferrera, who announced her departure in the spring.
