#Aharen-san wa Hakarenai Gets April 1 Premiere, 2nd Trailer

The upcoming Aharen-san wa Hakarenai anime has received an April 1 premiere date and a second trailer. The new trailer previews more of the show’s comic moments and the opening song “Hanarenai Kyori” by TrySail.

Aharen-san wa Hakarenai is based on the Shueisha-published manga by Asato Mizu, which began in 2017 and has 12 tankoubon volumes as of August 2021. The manga is serialized on Shonen Jump Plus and published under the Jump Comics label. The romantic comedy revolves around adjacently seated classmates Reina and Raidou, with the former being a small and quiet person whose poor ability to gauge personal space makes her unpredictable.

The anime staff includes Yasutaka Yamamoto (Noblesse) as chief director, Tomoe Makino (Woodpecker Detective’s Office) as director, Takao Yoshioka (Horimiya) as scriptwriter, and Yuuko Yahiro (Kaguya-sama: Love Is War) as character designer. Tomoko Iwasa (Wave!! Surfing Yappe!!), Chie Mishima (Otherside Picnic), and Yuuki Fukuchi (Otherside Picnic) are serving as chief animation directors.

Other staff include Baku Production’s Kenichi Kurata (Nekopara) as art director, Chiharu Tanaka (Nekopara) as color designer, Studio Shamrock’s Kazuya Iwai (Nekopara) as photography director, and Satoru Kousaki (Vivy -Fluorite Eye’s Song-) and MONACA (Maesetsu!) as music composers. FelixFilm is the animation production studio.

Meanwhile, the cast includes Inori Minase as the titular Reina Aharen, Takuma Terashima as Raidou, M.A.O as Mitsuki Ooshiro, Kana Hanazawa as Toubaru-sensei, Tetsuya Kakihara as Ishikawa, Tomori Kusonoki as Hanako Satou, and Yurie Kozaki as Miyahira-sensei.
