#Adrianne Lenker shares “Fool”

Adrianne Lenker of Big Thief has shared “Fool,” taken from her upcoming solo album Bright Future. Scroll down to see a video, directed by Lenker’s brother, Noah, now.
Bright Future is due out on March 22 via 4AD. Lenker has previously shared the singles “Sadness As A Gift” and “Ruined.”
Lenker worked with producer Philip Weinrobe while making Bright Future. In a statement he says “Fool” shows a different side to her songwriting. “It’s easy to forget that Adrianne can do unbridled ecstatic happiness just as deftly as every other emotion in the human experience.”
Bright Future marks Lenker’s first album since 2020’s songs & instrumentals. She will follow the album release with a headline tour. Dates can be found here.
