Adele’s third album 25 was released in 2015 and secured the soul singer a No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200, a mass of Grammys including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance (for “Hello”) and eventually achieved diamond certification. On October 15, Adele will share her first new solo song in six years, “Easy On Me.”
The singer made the announcement with a short black-and-white teaser on social media — in the clip, Adele puts a cassette tape in a packed-up truck as a few seconds of a new song plays. If you wanted to speculate, you could say that all the luggage is a reference to the end of her marriage to Simon Konecki, who Adele divorced this year. Watch it below.
