A man arrested for chucking rocks at New York City consulates this summer was taken into custody again Tuesday after police sources said he was threatening people with a baseball bat in Midtown East.

Reza Mashayekhi, 34, has been charged with menacing after police arrested him with the bat on First Avenue and 49th Street around 5:30 p.m., according to law enforcement sources.

Police also charged him with several new criminal mischief counts, accusing him of throwing rocks at three additional consulates: the German consulate on Aug. 15, the Mexican consulate the following day and the Italian consulate on Sept. 10, the sources told The Post.

Police responding to the scene Tuesday recognized Mashayekhi from his previous criminal mischief charges and placed him under arrest, sources said.

Mashayekhi allegedly began his rock-chucking spree on July 25, targeting at least six consulates this summer.

He was previously charged with criminal mischief for throwing rocks at the Venezuelan, Russian and Ukrainian consulates.
