M.I.A. has shared a new track called “Babylon” along with a music video, streamable at the artist’s website, ohmni.com. She made the track available for purchase as a non-fungible token today as part of an auction for a new extended version of her 2010 mixtape, Vicki Leekx.
The current reserve price to place a bid on the “Babylon” NFT is 11.00 ETH ($51,551.94 USD). Proceeds from the sale of the “VICKILEEKX” collection will go to support Courage Foundation, a human rights non-profit that has dedicated funds to the legal defenses of Julian Assange, Edward Snowden, Chelsea Manning and other high-profile whistleblowers.
