#A Crocodile Who Lived for 100 Days Teaser Trailer Introduces Theme Song by Ikimonogakari

The official website for the forthcoming anime feature film adaptation of Yuuki Kikuchi’s web manga series 100 Nichi Go ni Shinu Wani (A Crocodile Who Will Die in 100 Days), newly titled 100 Nichikan Ikita Wani (A Crocodile Who Lived for 100 Days), has posted a 30-second teaser trailer introducing its main character voices and the theme song “TSUZUKU” performed by the three-memebr band Ikimonogakari. It has been just one year since the manga ended its web serialization.

The four-panel manga focusing on the last 100 days of a crocodile’s life before his death was posted on the author’s official Twitter account everyday from December 12, 2019, to March 20, 2020. In addition to the crocodile’s last 100 days, the anime film also depicts his friends who lost their precious things 100 days later. The teaser starts with the scene of cherry blossom viewing told in the last episode of the manga, and also shows a part of the new story depicted in the film.

Also, Yuuki Yamada (Joe Gibken / Gokai Blue in Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger) is confirmed to voice the film’s original character, Frog, who plays an important role in the subsequent storyline after the protagonist Crocodile dies.

Shinichiro Ueda (Camera wo Tomeruna! / One Cut of the Dead)-directed film is set to be released in Japan on May 28, 2021.
