#Atelier Ryza TV Anime Conjures up New Trailer, Key Visual, and Summer Release Date

Back in March, it was announced that beloved video game Atelier Ryza would be turned into an anime. Today, we have lots more new, in the form of a new trailer and key visual! Both of these bring with them music previews, release dates, and more.

First up, there’s the first official PV, showing us more from Ryza’s world. We also get a preview of the show’s opening theme, “Golden Ray”:

The theme will be performed by Sangatsu no Phantasia, who have also performed themes for shows like KIZNAIVER and Interviews with Monster Girls. 

A new key visual has also dropped, showing off new art of Ryza and her friends:

Both the key visual and the PV confirm a July 1 release date. However, those wanting to see it sooner will have the chance! Plans are afoot for an advance screening on June 17 in Shinjuku. Cast members will be present for a talk after the screening.

Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness and the Secret Hideout will be directed by Emma Yuzuriha at Liden Films, with Yashichiro Takahashi (original creator of Shakugan no Shana) handling series composition. Tomoyuki Shitaya (Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma) serves as character designer, working from Toridamono‘s original designs. Atelier game series composer Kazuki Yanagawa will pen the music for the adaptation. The series will premiere July 1 on TOKYO MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, BS11, and others.
