Your PlayStation 5 (PS5) will capture and save moments when you earn a trophy in a game. However, the console stores those trophy moments as video files instead of screenshots. Here’s how to change that.

The interface on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro automatically captures a screenshot of your trophy and saves it on the console.

However, things are a bit different in the PlayStation 5. The PlayStation 5’s interface automatically records a small video of your trophy (all grades) and saves it on the storage. That fills up the limited storage on the PlayStation 5 over time and occupies space that could be useful for the game saves.

Fortunately, you can stop your PS5 from recording trophy videos and force it to take only screenshots. Here’s how to do that.
