“#Nashville’s Terry Presume obsesses over the past on “Did Me Wrong””
The singer/rapper gets self-reflective on his debut single.
In “Did Me Wrong,” singer and rapper Terry Presume drudges up the ghosts of a past love, reminiscing through the city streets in the Quincy Banks-directed visuals that dropped on Thursday. Playing out like a deeply personal farewell note, the Nashville-based artist is dexterous, switching effortlessly between rapping and crooning over the song’s country-inspired production.
In its visuals, the artist finds himself, guitar case in hand, pausing for bits of self-reflection on his journey. “I can see you wanted more, the words appear on your face / I’m always up, you always down now we in two different states,” he raps on the track.
