#‘We love you, Cuomo!’: Woman embarrasses de Blasio at Brooklyn pool

Mayor Bill de Blasio tanked at a city pool Monday — when a female swimmer shouted at him, “We love you, Cuomo!”

Making the situation even more sticky for Hizzoner, when he told the woman his name wasn’t Gov. Andrew Cuomo, she replied, “Oh. What is it?’’

The embarrassing incident unfolded as de Blasio, who was wearing a face mask, pressed the flesh with visitors to the Kosciuszko Pool in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, asking them questions such as, “Are you having fun?’’ and bumping elbows with others.

Toward the end of the mayor’s 25-minute visit, a swimmer in white sunglasses leaned over the side of the pool and shouted to him, “We love you, Cuomo! You’re doing a great job! Thank you, Cuomo!”

De Blasio told the woman he wasn’t Cuomo, and she asked who he was. His response wasn’t audible to The Post.

The mayor was accompanied on the jaunt by city Parks Department Commissioner Mitchell Silver and local city Councilman Robert Cornegy.

Hizzoner told two teens at one point during his visit, “We want you to be in school as much as possible.’’
