The Platform: The Netflix movie is a Spanish sci-fi thriller that isn’t as horrifying as it is sick. If you decide to watch this one, you need a strong stomach. Nearly every scene is shocking and the twist/finale is worth a long discussion.

The Invitation: Finally, there’s The Invitation, which isn’t like most horror movies. Instead of using monsters or the supernatural to scare audiences, The Invitation keeps things more real. The movie follows a group of friends catching up. Everything is going fine until the hosts begin to share how much they have changed after joining a group aka a cult.
