Detroit, Mi – If there is one thing HipHopDX got right this year, it’s the fact that Collective Music Group/Heavy Camp rapper 42 Dugg has earned his place on our 2021 Rising Stars list — mainly due to the type of impressive work ethic and consistency embodied in his recent music video circuit.

Following his appearance in the ultra-turnt visual for EST Gee’s “5500 Degrees,” 42 Dugg makes his way into the endzone to do his touchdown celebration dance in the Drewfilmedit-directed “Bestfriends” video.

With scenes panning back-and-forth between packed parking lot parties littered with Hellcat burnout tire marks, the jewelry store, and two-hand-touch football games at Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions.

As the Free Dem Boyz rapper takes his free roam of the multi-million dollar NFL field, it’s easy to see he feels at home in a stadium environment — and that comfortability will come in handy for his upcoming headlining tour this fall.

42 Dugg’s Young N Turnt Tour begins later this month in Los Angeles and will hit 16 additional cities before concluding in Minneapolis in early November.

Though 42 has remained tight-lipped about possible supporting artists for the tour, fans should still likely prepare for a hype show, considering he’s still riding high off the energy of his packed-out performance at Rolling Loud Miami and his assist on Tyler The Creator’s “Lemonhead” record from his Billboard chart-topping album Call Me If You Get Lost.

And following the release of his Free Dem Boyz (Deluxe) album last week, 42 Dugg also re-connected with his CMG labelmate EST Gee for their “Rose Gold” visual.
