#Eve Releases “Kororon” Anime Music Video

Singer-songwriter Eve has made a “surprise release” of a new anime music video to commemorate the conclusion of his Eve Arena Tour 2023 Kororon concert tour. The video is for “Kororon,” a Gatsby’s Meta Rubber hairstyling series tie-up song that was released in March.

The “Kororon” music video follows two young women who become drawn to one another following a few chance encounters. Illustrator and MAPPA animator Ligton, whose name can be seen in the credits of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 and Chainsaw Man, is the director, storyboard artist, character designer, and animation director for the animated video. Ligton previously worked on the music videos for DUSTCELL’s “CULT” and “ANEMONE.”

Other staff credits include chavoom as the concept and background artist and tyao (Hololive Alternative 2nd Teaser PV, the upcoming Hoshikuzu Telepath [under their real name Daisuke Chiba]) as the compositing director.
